Simple.
Catchy.
Upbeat.
And has a chorus with lyrics that overlap the beat/music in the most interesting way.
So yeah – I’m picky, but there’s something about certain “breakup” or “broken relationship” songs. I’m a big feeler/empath I guess.
One of my faves is Merry Happy by Kate Nash.
